Default Log File Access

Are the log files available for FTP download on both Flash Server and SHOUTcast? I found this free program that lets you parse your log files either offline or real-time. It just requires that you have FTP access to the log files. The current version does not support Media Server or Flash Server but that is coming in the next release (beta starts in a couple weeks). You run this on your computer. "Caster Stats Desktop" http://www.casterstats.com/

Unfortunately we do not offer ftp access for the logs and they need to be collected from http://logs.streamsolutions.co.uk

I see the log files, they are broken down per day so each day has it's own log file. Is it possible to get them consolidated so you can download one log file for a whole week, or month?

Is it possible perhaps sometime in the future to get FTP access to the sc_serv.log file?

also I see the most current log file is 3 days old. Is there a way to get more current logs or do we have to wait 3 days for them to post?

in answer to all your questions

FTP access to the sc_serv.log file is not something we will be providing

The consolidation of the log files has been requested by many customers and is part of our changes to the logging and statistics system which has taken longer to make available than anticipated

The log files should be available from 7am the next day for the previous day. We have however had to swap out a physical server and consequently some of the logs have been lost. We are recovering yesterdays logs however the previous two days will not be available.

Andrew.
